Exclusive: No more The L.A. Complex for MuchMusic

The L.A. Complex has failed to make the cut for a third season on MuchMusic.

Bell Media on Monday confirmed it will not be ordering more episodes of the homegrown soap from Epitome Pictures about Canadian wannabe stars in Hollywood.

A first season of six episodes and a sophomore run of 13 episodes aired on MuchMusic and The CW stateside, with the second season audience on MuchMusic being well down on the first cycle.

The drama, written and directed by Martin Gero, was previously known as Highland Gardens, and starred Jonathan Patrick Moore, Joe Dinicol, Andra Fuller, Chelan Simmons, Cassie Steele, Benjamin Charles Watson and Jewel Staite.

The L.A. Complex was executive produced by Linda Schuyler and Stephen Stohn of Epitome Pictures, along with Gero.

There’s still hope..Hopefully another Canadian network recognizes what an amazing show this is and picks it up. In the mean time, sign the petition here:

This is a really good show. I can’t believe they just gonna leave us hanging in it’s prime. Big mistake Bell media! The stories for Kaldrick, Raquel, and Conner just got so intense.   this show is way different than most of the others on TV today, what a shame…
