RIDM unveils web doc program
For its upcoming 15th edition, the Montreal International Documentary Festival is launching Docs 2.0, a section to showcase interactive documentaries, in collaboration with the Canada Media Fund.
The section will feature on-screen “guided tours’ for five web docs, presented by each project’s designer.
Projects featured in the Docs 2.0 program include The Block, from SBS Online and Poppy Stockell; Ici, chez soi, from the National Film Board of Canada; Mes États * Nordiques, directed by Marie-Claude Fornier and coproduced by TV5 and Les Productions Pied-de-biche; Portraits de frontiers, from Tawan Arun and Joris Rühl; and 17.10-61 from French collective Raspouteam.
The 15th edition of the Montreal International Documentary Festival takes place Nov. 7-18.
