Shaw kicks off mobile NFL app
Shaw on Thursday launched a new product, the Go: NFL Sunday Ticket app, which will allow cable and satellite subscribers to the specialty TV service to access up to 14 HD games every week on their iPads.
“We know that NFL fans love every chance to get as close to the game as possible,” says Peter Bissonnette, President, Shaw Communications, in a statement.
“Beyond watching up to 14 NFL games on a tablet every Sunday, the Shaw Go: NFL Sunday Ticket app puts fans in control by integrating live player stats, game scores and up to the minute game summaries,” he adds.
The app also comes with extra features, including instant replay, play-by-play summaries, and access to NFL RedZone.
The company says the app is the second installment in its TV Everywhere strategy, which saw it launch the Go: Movie Central app in September.
