French distributor takes foreign sales rights for Transporter TV series
Europe Images International is to drum up more world sales for the Canada-France co-production after sales into the U.S. and much of Europe.
Transporter: The Series, the TMN and Movie Central action TV drama, has enlisted Europe Images International to drum up worldwide distribution of the action TV series.
The French distributor has come forward after the Canada-France co-production was sold to Germany’s RTL, France’s M6, HBO/Cinemax in the U.S., Mediaset in Itlay, Norway’s TV2, Spain’s Antena 3 and VMMA in Dutch-speaking Belgium.
Transporter: The Series, based on the Luc Besson film franchise, stars Chris Vance as Frank Martin, an ex-soldier an expert-driver for hire.
The action drama is produced by Atlantique Productions and Canada’s QVF Inc.
The Canada-France also cranked up the European talent on its recent production swing in France.
The Hungarian actress Andrea Osvart stars as a former CIA agent, and French actor Francois Berleand, a veteran of the Luc Besson film franchise, returns to the TV series as Inspector Tarconi.
Elsewhere, German actor Charly Hubner (The Lives of Others) plays Dieter, and the French-born model and actor Delphine Chanéac (Splice) plays Juliette.
