TVO launches app for Google TV

TVO is launching TVO On Demand, an Android app for Google TV.

The free app works with a Google TV set top device to let viewers stream TVO programs over the internet and onto their TVs.

TVO On Demand will feature in-house productions including The Agenda with Steve Palkin, Big Ideas and Allan Gregg in Conversation, as well as feature-length docs and doc and drama series.

The app launches in conjunction with the Sony Internet Player, the first device in Canada to feature Google TV, hitting the market Friday.
