eOne, in association with David Gross and Jesse Shapira, announced Thursday the start of principal photography on The F Word, the latest from Goon director Michael Dowse.

The romantic comedy, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Zoe Kazan, Rafe Spall and Megan Park, tells the story of a young man who must put to test the idea that boys and girls can be “just friends” when he falls for a girl at a party who already has a boyfriend.

The film is written by Elan Mastai, with Jesse Shapira exec producing and David Gross producing.

Meanwhile, Rogier Stoffers is director of photography and Yvann Thibaudeau is editor.

The film will be released by eOne in Canada and the UK, and sold in the U.S. by UTA, and internationally by eOne Films international.
