Lissa Fraser Kerr joins Big Coat as production and development head

Lissa Fraser Kerr has joined Toronto-based indie Big Coat Productions as head of production and development.

The company’s exec producers Catherine Fogarty and Maria Armstrong made the announcement Tuesday.

Kerr will oversee Big Coat’s development slate, as well as series, pilot and documentary production.

Kerr previously worked as a production exec at Corus Entertainment, and was director and producer for series including Colour Confidential, Sarah’s House, Property Virgins and Take This House and Sell It.

She takes her post effective immediately.
