Rebel Without a Kitchen to begin production in August
Production will begin in August around the Greater Toronto area on the first season of original series Rebel Without a Kitchen, from Toronto-based General Purpose Pictures.
The 13-episode food adventure series will premiere in the spring of 2013 on GlassBox Television specialty channel Travel + Escape.
Rebel Without a Kitchen is hosted by Matt Basile (a.k.a. Fidel Gastro), who creates a pop-up sandwich shop in unlikely places as he road trips across the GTA in his food truck.
The series is exec produced by Scott Clark McNeil, who developed the concept with VP creative development and production Josie Crimi.
