New Brunswick’s Copperhead shoot adds Peter Fonda to cast
1960s iconic actor Peter Fonda has joined the cast of Copperhead, the Civil War movie shooting in Kings Landing, New Brunswick.
Fonda will play the role of Avery, alongside Billy Campbell as patriarch Abner Beech and Angus MacFadyen as Jee Hagadorn.
The latest cast addition follows Jason Patric earlier this week leaving the Copperhead set, and being replaced by Campbell.
Copperhead, originally a novel written by Harold Frederic, and adapted into a screenplay by Bill Kauffman, portrays political strife and emotional upheaval on the homefront in upper New York state, during the 1860s U.S. Civil War.
Ron Maxwell is directing Copperhead, with John Houston of Houston Productions co-producing.
