Cineflix Media hires Jodi Flynn to expand L.A. office
"They are so aggressively expanding their U.S. presence, which is a great opportunity for someone like me to make a difference for a company," the veteran U.S. TV exec told Playback Daily.
As it expands its Los Angeles office, Cineflix Media has hired local TV development veteran Jodi Flynn as executive vice president, programming.
The former Screaming Flea Productions exec, who developed Hoarders for A&E, joins Lisa Levenson, who opened the Los Angeles office last year as the Canadian producer branched out from its New York office earlier opened by Charles Treymane.
“They are so aggressively expanding their U.S. presence, which is a great opportunity for someone like me to make a difference for a company,” Flynn told Playback Daily, of her decision to join Cineflix Media.
She will join the Canadian producer in July, and take on her own development slate as Cineflix continues to generate original reality series and bring global formats to the U.S. market.
“Jodi is a highly respected executive with a great eye for a hit show and a smart idea,” Simon Lloyd, CEO of Cineflix Productions, said of her appointment.
“She will be a key member of our senior creative team as we continue to expand our production slate on both the East and West coasts, while maintaining the high quality of our output,” he added.
