Former CBS exec joins Toronto video stream manager mDialog
Toronto-based video stream management solutions company mDialog has appointed former CBS exec Jeff Clark as chief revenue officer (CRO).
The company is also expanding its footprint with the opening of a U.S. headquarters in San Francisco.
“Jeff will play an instrumental role in helping a diverse ecosystem of operators, programmers, and infrastructure partners understand the power and scalability of mDialog’s solutions,” said Greg Philpott, mDialog founder and CEO, in a statement.
mDialog offers a platform that allows for linear, live and on-demand ad insertion across video streaming devices like iOs, Android smartphones and tablets, Google TV, Xbox and smart TVs, a system which helps content and service providers to monetize their content across the various devices.
As CRO, Clark will oversee global sales, marketing and business development, and the opening of the company’s U.S. headquarters in the California city.
He previously worked as VP and general manager of the entertainment division at CBS Interactive, where he was primarily responsible for CBS.com and distribution and management of all online ad-supported video.
“People are consuming more video on more devices every day. I’m excited to open our U.S. headquarters as we aggressively expand our presence in the premium video monetization market,” said Clark in a statement.
