Jim Pattison Broadcast Group ups two execs
Rick Arnish, president of The Jim Pattison Broadcast Group for 14 years, is stepping aside to become chairman of the B.C.-based media group.
The move allows Rod Schween to become the new broadcast group president.
Arnish will be oversee strategic planning and acquisitions and licensing, while Schween moves over from his previous role as general manager of the Pattison Lethbridge/Cranbrook division, which has six stations and three communities.
Schween, working out of the Kamloops, B.C. headquarters, takes on the day-to-day responsibilities of the division and stations, including CFJC TV, CIFM FM and CKBZ FM.
Both roles are effective July 1.
