Qubo picks up marblemedia’s Taste Buds

The 24/7 U.S. digital channel will broadcast the live-action, food-themed kids series, which airs on TVOKids in Canada.

Entertainment One has inked a broadcast deal with kids TV and online U.S. entertainment service Qubo Channel for the live-action, food-themed children’s adventure series Taste Buds.

The 32 x 30-minute series produced by Toronto-based marblemedia caters to kids ages six to 10 and promotes healthy eating by encouraging its audience to participate in food preparation, from shopping and cooking to eating and cleaning up. Its hosts also promote foods from around the world and environmental responsibility.

Taste Buds is executive produced by marblemedia’s Mark Bishop and Matthew Hornburg, and airs on TVOKids in Canada.

Qubo is available 24/7 as a digital channel and at www.qubo.com. It also appears as a branded block Wednesday to Friday mornings in the U.S. on ION Television, Saturday mornings on NBC and weekend mornings on Telemundo.
