Alan Thicke booked into The L.A. Complex
Epitome Pictures has signed Alan Thicke to a recurring role on The L.A. Complex for MuchMusic and The CW stateside.
The veteran Canadian actor and Hollywood veteran (Growing Pains) will perform in four upcoming episodes in the character of Donald.
The hire comes as production will start shortly in Toronto and Los Angeles on 13 more episodes of The L.A. Complex.
The return to the studio follows Bell Media on Thursday raising its commitment to the homegrown soap about wannabe stars in Hollywood to 19 episodes for MuchMusic.
Six one-hour episodes of The L.A. Complex, which is executive produced, written and directed by Martin Gero, were initially ordered by CTV and MuchMusic.
Thicke is represented by Nigel Mikoski at Integral Artists and managed by Larry Thompson Organization in Los Angeles.
