Two more new programmers join 30 Minutes With…

Both Rogers Broadcasting and ZoomerMedia have appointed new content heads in the past year. The Playback Summit’s 30 Minutes With… sessions are your chance to meet these new programmers, as they map out new strategies for their respective networks.

As Director of Original Programming for Rogers Broadcasting, Freeland guides the original scripted and unscripted Canadian programming strategy across Roger’s television services, including CityTV, OLN, bio and FX (Canada).

Shenken, ZoomerMedia’s Vice President of Programming, Television Division, directs acquisitions and scheduling strategies for Vision TV, ONE and two over-the-air stations Joytv10 in Vancouver, and Joytv11 in Winnipeg.

They join Corus Entertainment’s Vibika Bianchi and Discovery Canada’s Edwina Follows who round out the 30 Minutes With… lineup of new Canadian programmers.
