CMPA unveils six more film and TV producer trainees
Six aspiring producers are to learn how to be wise in the ways of Canadian film and TV, thanks to the latest mentoring effort by the Canadian Media Production Association (CMPA).
The Telefilm producer trainee program will see Tasha Waldron (pictured) train at Conquering Lion Pictures, Fathom Film Group take Heidi Tao Yang under its wings, while Alba Gil Memije is to be mentored at Handel Productions.
Also taking part in the CMPA training program is Dena Pitter with Proper Television, Tyler Rampersaud working with Screen Door and Zeros 2 Heroes Media mentoring Nadeem Siddiqui.
The one-on-one mentoring program targets emerging and mid-level producers from a visible minority or aboriginal background.
