eOne sells The Hunter into multiple territories
Entertainment One (eOne) has sold the Willem Dafoe-starrer The Hunter from director Daniel Nettheim to a host of foreign territories after the movie bowed at the Toronto International Film Festival last week.
The sales agent secured distributon deals for the psychological drama to Magnolia Pictures in the U.S., Artificial Eye in Britain, Japan’s BMS, and Ascot Elite in Germany.
Entertainment One executive VP of international sales Charlotte Mickie also netted distribution deals in Greece with Strada, Kino Swiat in Poland, Pictureworks in India and ECS Film Distribution in the Middle East
Distributors are also surrounding The Hunter, from Porchlight Films, with potential deals in the Benelux, Scandinavia and Latin America, Entertainment One reports.
