Fall TV: Ratings roll in for CBC Tuesday premieres
Despite tons of buzz and a big media buy stateside, Canadian coproduction Camelot was the lowest of the three fall premieres on CBC Tuesday night.
The historical drama, which aired at 9 p.m. drew a 2+ viewership of just over 800,000 and a 25-to-54 audience of 376,000, according to the CBC and BBM Canada overnight data.
The was slightly less than its lead-in, 22 Minutes, which earned 981,000 viewers 2+ and 351,000 in the 25-to-54 demographic.
The strongest premiere of the night went to the Rick Mercer Report at 8 p.m., which garnered 1.2 million viewers 2+ and 433,000 in the 25- to 54-year-old demo.
