Playback has been seeing lots of the Canadian Film Centre crew lately, as the institution wraps a dizzying two weeks of short-film related events. On Wednesday, June 8, the Centre hosted its 2011 Short Dramatic Film screenings and Playback Payback award ceremony at the Cineplex Varsity Theatre in Toronto. The event came on the heels of the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival (WSFF), which ran May 31 to June 2 in Toronto, which included parties, screenings and the organization’s annual spring picnic on its Toronto campus.
