Dogwoof acquires NFB docs

UK indie film distributor Dogwoof has snapped up nine NFB docs for its catalog.

Among the titles in the acquisition are those that had their debut at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, such as Up the Yangtze (EyeSteelFilm), Triage: Dr. James Orbinski’s Humanitarian Dilemma (White Pine Pictures) and Fierce Light: When Spirit Meets Action (FierceLight Films).

Others include two co-pros with Macumba DOC and the NFB, namely Grace, Milly, Lucy… Child Soldiers, and Under the Hood, a Voyage into the World of Torture; Waterlife, and feature docs The Strangest Dream, The Coca-Cola Case (Argus Films) and Nollywood Babylon (AM Pictures).
