King in production in Toronto
The cameras are rolling on King, the eight-part female cop drama from indie producer Indian Grove Productions.
The homegrown drama, now shooting in Toronto, stars Amy Price-Francis (pictured) as the lead investigator of Toronto’s Major Crimes Task Force, and Alan Van Sprang, Gabriel Hogan and Tony Nardi.
Clark Johnson is directing the first and second episodes of King, which was co-created and is executive produced Bernard Zukerman and Greg Spottiswood.
King, which is set to shoot to mid-February on a soundstage at Dufferin Gate Productions, is set for a 2011 bow in Canadian primetime.
