Crackle video network comes to Canada

Sony Pictures Entertainment’s video entertainment network Crackle is now available in Canada.

The ad-supported net at www.crackle.com delves into Sony Pictures’ library and content can also be accessed through its distribution partners from the likes of RogersOnDemand, YouTube, Boxee, Dailymotion and Metacafe.

Crackle will showcase a range of content from original short-form, full-length and short-form TV shows, along with motion pictures from Sony Pictures’s library. Content will be refreshed regularly and programming will appear on the proprietary Crackle player.

Rogers Digital Media will serve as the ad sales agent for Crackle.com north of the border and will sell the site’s Canuck inventory across its online distribution channels. Programming appears through the proprietary Crackle player across all its distributors, giving Rogers an expanded video offering and branded environment opps for advertisers.
