Canwest sets date for Parker

Breakthrough Animation will see its latest go to air next month on TVtropolis, which has slated Producing Parker for Mondays at 8:30 p.m. The 13 x 30 will bow on May 4, with Sex and the City‘s Kim Cattrall as the demanding host of a daytime talk show and Kristin Booth (MVP, Young People Fucking) voicing her overworked and underpaid producer.

The cartoon by the Toronto shop targets adults 25 to 54 years old, skewing younger and female. Aaron Abrams (Slings & Arrows) also stars as a cynical copywriter, and Peter Keleghan as the charismatic station owner. The series was created by Laura Kosterski (Naked Josh) and Breakthrough’s Kevin Gillis and Carolyn Newman.
