CBC to explore India in HD
An in-house special due this fall on CBC will open a window into the world’s most populous democracy with India Reborn. The two-part series features four hours of HD television, each offering a different perspective into the lives of those living through India’s transformation into one of the world’s economic superpowers.
The first two-hour segment will air on Sunday, Sept. 21, covering the diversity, myths and growing economic prowess of the country. Part two follows on Sept. 22 with a look at India’s climb up the global economic and political ladder.
