Cinegroupe’s animated children’s series The Kids From Room 402 has been sold in both English and French to Teletoon, which will premier the 40-episode series to Canadian audiences this fall.

Currently airing on Fox Family in the u.s., which holds a minority interest in CineGroupe, Kids is a high-spirited and humorous glimpse at the antics and escapades of a classroom full of mischievous 10 year olds. The show is produced by Louis Duquet (Mega Babies) and directed by Wade Konowalchuk.

Based on the book Gracie Graves and the Kids From Room 402, written by Betty Paraskevas, the series was adapted by Cindy Begel and Lesa Kite (Recess, Head of the Class).

Also attached are creative consultant and character designer Michael Paraskevas, illustrator of the book, and artistic director Marielle Guyot.
