Rankin departs WTN
Linda Rankin, president of the Women’s Television Network, has tendered her resignation, effective immediately.
The board of directors of Lifestyle Television, which operates wtn, made the announcement Aug.16, saying differences in management philosophy precipitated the departure.
Low ratings have dogged the network since it went on the air early this year.
Randy Moffatt, Lifestyle board member and head of Moffat Communications, will serve as acting president until an executive search firm finds a replacement for Rankin.
